About Us

1st Burton-in-Wirral Scout Group is a thriving Scout Group offering Scouting to young people in the Ness, Burton, Little Neston, Neston and Parkgate areas.

We have an enthusiastic leadership team which enables us to run a Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop.

We cater for young people between the ages of 6 and 14 through a balanced programme of activities. We are part of Ellesmere Port and Neston District which is part of Cheshire County. Each of our sections take part in a full programme from crafts to climbing and everything in between!

We are a registered charity (Charity No: 509532), all our leaders and committee members are unpaid volunteers committed to providing Scouting for young people in our area.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
